Terms and Conditions Live In Cat Sitting

Our Duty of Care

Notting Hill Cat Company (from here-on known as “NHCC”) highly respects that you, the

client, trust us with the care of your cat and where necessary, access to your property. Your

personal information will never be shared with or sold to third parties.

NHCC will utilise their skill and experience to ensure that a high standard of care is provided

to the cat/s in their charge and to the client’s property.

For some cats a change in their routine and circumstances can cause varying degrees of

distress and unpredictable or abnormal behaviour, particularly if their owner is on holiday -

cats have no concept or ability to understand their owner’s absence is temporary and that

they will be coming back. NHCC understand this and will offer comfort and reassurance

whilst trying, as far as is practically possible, to maintain their normal daily routines.

Your Cat

Clients must ensure that all cats are registered with a local vet and. It is the client’s sole

responsibility to ensure that NHCC is fully aware of any health issues your cat is

experiencing, or has suffered in the past. NHCC cannot be held liable for any actions or

omissions which result in problems or complications for anything not disclosed.

The client agrees to cover all costs resulting from an unexpected emergency where your

cat/s has to be taken to the vets. In this unlikely event, and with every possible effort made

to contact the client directly ( or if unable to contact the client, their local emergency

contact ) the Cat Sitter will act accordingly and go with the advice of said vet. All costs

resulting from this, including emergency transportation, will be covered by the client within

14 days of the initial incident.

NHCC cannot be held responsible for any complications pets may suffer or actions of pets

whilst they are left alone.

The client understands that NHCC will assume no responsibility for the actions and decisions

of the veterinary staff. A vet release form needs to be filled in and approved so that it can

be taken to the vets in the event of any emergency.

To avoid misunderstandings, it is important that all information and instructions are up to

date and accurate and are given to NHCC in writing by the client.
